Our owner has been in the martial arts industry since 1996. He started training jiu-jitsu in 1997, has competed in many BJJ tournaments, and is a former instructor and school owner. He started The Good Fight in 2008 and with nearly three decades of experience, he's built something that puts competitors first. For The Good Fight, a jiu-jitsu tournament is much more than a transaction. We want you to grow in your jiu-jitsu journey and walk away knowing you gave everything on the mat.

Our system for operating and directing a tournament is what sets us apart. On the rare occasions we've fallen behind, we evaluate why and fix it before the next event.

We know the importance of having your instructor there to coach you. We offer free passes to any official instructor from a legitimate academy that has competing students.

Coaches passes are designed for official instructors and their staff of assistant teachers only. They are not for family members or friends. Your family and friends are welcome to support you at the tournament -- but coaches passes are reserved for the academy owner and official instructors. Please be respectful of this policy.
