Medals & Team Awards

Individual Awards: Custom medals awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in every bracket.

Team Awards: Two team awards given out -- one to the Kids/Teen team champion and one to the Adult/Executive/Master team champion.

⚠ Must Read -- Team Award Shipment

Awards are custom engraved and shipped directly to you. A head instructor or academy owner must email doug@goodfighttournament.com with the academy name, residential shipping address, and the event you participated in. This email must be received within 30 days of the qualifying event. Failure to submit within 30 days forfeits the trophy -- however, your team still qualifies for Sub-Only Worlds.

Gi & NoGi Divisions

Kids and Teens divisions broken up by age, skill level & weight.
Female Gi and NoGi divisions available for adults ages 16 years and older.
Men's Adult (16--29 yrs), Executive (30--39 yrs), and Masters (40+ yrs) divisions available for white, blue, purple, brown and black belts.

Weigh-Ins

Weigh-In Rules

Competitors weigh-in without the gi. A 1 lb allowance is given for each weight class.
If you are 1.2 lbs over, you must lose the extra .2 lbs to make weight.
If you don't make weight, you move up to the next weight class after weigh-in.
You may step on the scale as many times as needed until the scales close.
There will NOT be night-before weigh-ins.

Note: If you are competing in both Gi & NoGi divisions, you only weigh-in once by 12:00 pm. The NoGi time slot is only for adults competing in NoGi only.

⚠ Important -- Be On Time

You MUST be on time. When planning your drive, account for traffic and the possibility of getting lost. If you are late for weigh-ins you will be disqualified.

The Good Fight offers discounts for military, college students, first responders, and families registering 2 or more family members for the same tournament. These discounts are set up on an individual basis.

To request a discount, email sheryl@goodfighttournament.com. Your email must include your Smoothcomp profile User ID, and the IDs of all family members if requesting a family discount.

Allow 2--3 business days for your coupon code to be processed.
